Grant Vernon Hart is an American musician, best known as the drummer and co-author of the punk rock band Hüsker Dü. After the band disbanded in 1988, he released his first solo album Intolerance before forming the alternative rock trio Nova Mob, where he switched to vocals and guitar. His solo career became the main theme after the disbandment of Nova Mob in 1997. As a co-author of Hüsker Dü, Hart's songs received much praise from critics and contemporaries.
