Henry August "Hank" Kuehne II is an American former amateur champion and professional golfer who has had some success at the PGA Tour. Kuehne was born in Dallas, Texas. His father started playing golf when he was a child. He has a sister who played on the LPGA Tour and an older brother who finished runner-up after Tiger Woods at American Amateur 1994 and is still an amateur. Kuehne began his college career at Oklahoma State University, but then transferred to Southern Methodist University, where he won the All-American title three times as a member of the golf team. He won the American Amateur in 1998 and played in the US Eisenhower Trophy team in 1998. He graduated from SMU in 1999 with a degree in Communication and moved professionally. Although he has scored some professional wins in non-Tour events, Kuehne's best results in the PGA Tour were the T-2 at both Shell Houston Open 2003 and John Deere Classic 2005. Best results His performance in a major tournament was the 65th place finish at the 1999 US Open.
