Hank Locklin is an American country singer and songwriter. He has 70 singles on the charts, including two hits topped the Billboard country charts. Her biggest hits include "Give me the pillow you've always dreamed of" and her signature "Please help me, I'm falling". It then peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 pop chart. Billboard's 100th anniversary magazine ranked it the second most successful country single in the rock and roll era. It has sold over a million copies and received the Gold Record from the RIAA. Locklin was born and raised in Florida. He fell in love with country music after an accident when he was a child. He learned to play the guitar while recovering and also began to perform locally. In adulthood, he formed his own group called Rocky Mountain Playboys, which performed concerts and local radio performances. Locklin was heard singing at one of these concerts, leading to his first recording contract in 1949.
