Jimmy Jean-Louis is a Haitian American actor and producer best known for his role as "Haitians" in the NBC Heroes television series. Born in Pétion-Ville, he moved to Paris at a very young age with his family in search of a better life. His first roles are in French television commercials and in the Spanish musical theater. Eventually settling in Los Angeles in the late 1990s, he played minor roles in The Bourne Identity, Tears of the Sun, and Arliss before moving on to more prominent roles in American dramas and films. His most important role to date is that of the main character of Toussaint Louverture. He is the producer / star of the Rattlesnakes series. He had a starring role in the second season of the TV show Claws.
