Kali Muscle Kirkendall is a bodybuilder originally from Oakland, California. He is a former model and an actor that has appeared in commercials for Taco Bell, GEICO, Snickers, Comcast, Honda and others. One of three children, he was brought up by his mother and step-father. When he was a senior in high school his older brother died of suicide. Prior to his brother's death, he did well at sports, including football, track and wrestling. He received a football scholarship to Fresno State University. He was also training at the gym. The death of his brother started a downward slide in his life and into criminal activity. He said that bodybuilding saved him from gang life. He managed to turn his life around from the past he had. He now is on a mission of sorts to talk to young people about his time in prison and the lesson he has learned about violence and crime. He has become well known for his online videos as well. Bodybuilder and actor known for showing off his physique in a music video for Jamey Johnson and various commercials, most famously directing traffic in a Geico ad. He was named Mr. California in 2012.
An exceptional athlete, he earned a scholarship to play football at Fresno State. However, while in school, he was arrested for robbery and sentenced to 11 years in prison, where he developed his passion for bodybuilding.
