About Ken Laurence
Self-taught fashion designer and reality star who first rose to fame competing on the twelfth season of Project Runway. He then went on to become a finalist on the fifth season of Project Runway All Stars.
His interest in fashion was ignited at the age of ten when a family member began fashion illustration as a hobby. By fourteen, he'd enrolled in a home economics to learn how to use a sewing machine.
Before finally appearing on season twelve of Project Runway, he auditioned for seasons ten and eleven and auditioned for NBC's Fashion Star.
He hails from Birmingham, Alabama.
He was twice beaten by fellow designer Dom Streater on the shows Project Runway and Project Runway All Stars.
