Kevin Matthew Fertig is an American professional real estate broker and wrestler. He is best known for working with World Wrestling Entertainment under the stage names Mordecai and Kevin Thorn. Fertig made his professional wrestling debut in 2000, and soon began working on the Memphis Championship wrestling tournament in his hometown, under the stage name Seven. There he won the Hardcore, Southern Tag Team and Southern Heavyweight Championships. He signed with WWE in April 2002 and was assigned to their developed territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling. He competed at OVW for two years, winning the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship with Travis Bane, before being called the SmackDown franchise as Mordecai, a religious believer. The character only lasted a few months, and he returned to OVW before being released in mid-2005. He joined the Independent Tour the following year, before returning to WWE to fight his ECW franchise. I am as Kevin Thorn, a vampire character.
