Kristopher Bruce "Kris" Draper is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player and current director of amateur scouting for the Detroit Red Wings, the team which he played 17 seasons for during his 20-year National Hockey League playing career. Draper is a four-time winner of the Stanley Cup, a Frank J. Selke Trophy winner and has scored over 100 goals in his NHL career with the Red Wings. Draper was a member of the famous "Grind Line" in Detroit, consisting of himself, Kirk Maltby and either Joe Kocur or Darren McCarty.
Four-time Stanley Cup-winning center who played in the NHL for the Winnipeg Jets and Detroit Red Wings and internationally for Team Canada.
He played minor hockey for Don Mills Flyers Midget AAA.
After his playing career was over, he started working in the Detroit Red Wings' front office.
He has three children: Kienan, Kennedi, and Kamryn.
In 2009, he became the fifth player to play 1,000 games for the Red Wings, putting him in a class with Gordie Howe, Alex Delvecchio, Steve Yzerman, Nicklas Lidstrom, and Tomas Holmstrom.
