Leon Draisaitl
Leon Tim Draisaitl is a German professional ice hockey player and replacement captain for Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League. Draisaitl grew up playing hockey in Germany until he was selected second place in the 2012 CHL Import Contest by Prince Albert Raiders. After two seasons of playing for the Raiders, he was given third place overall in the 2014 NHL Draft by Edmonton Oilers in the 2014 season. In 2020, Draisaitl became the first German player to win the Art Ross Trophy as NHL's top scorer, the Hart Memorial Trophy as the regular season's MVP and the Ted Lindsay Best Player award. Draisaitl is the son of former German national team international Peter Draisaitl, who has represented West Germany and Germany in 146 matches, including at the World Championships, World Cup and 1988 Winter Olympics, 1992 and 1998
