Each of her 51 books are bestsellers in the United States and various European countries, and all of her novels are still printed in 2015, along with the novel thriller. His debut, Where Are The Children ?, Printed for the seventy-fifth time. Higgins Clark started writing at a young age. After several years as secretary and editor, she spent a year as a flight attendant for Pan-American Airlines before quitting her job to get married. She earns extra income for her family by writing short stories. After her husband's death in 1964, Higgins Clark worked for years writing a four-minute radio script until her agent persuaded her to try writing the novel. Her first novel, a fictional story about the life of George Washington, didn't sell well and she decided to exploit her love for horror / mystery novels.
