Mary Caroline Pierce is a retired tennis professional who has represented France internationally in team competitions and at the Olympic Games. She was born in Canada to an American father and a French mother, and holds the citizenship of all three countries. Pierce has won four Grand Slam titles: two singles titles, a doubles title and a mixed doubles title. She has reached six Grand Slam singles finals, most recently at the US Open and Roland Garros in 2005. His Grand Slam singles titles came at the 1995 Australian Open and 2000 French Open; Pierce was the last French player, male or female, to win the second title. She won the 2000 French Open in doubles with Martina Hingis as a teammate and reached the Grand Slam women's doubles final at the 2000 Australian Open, also a partner of Hingis. She also won the mixed doubles event at the 2005 Wimbledon Championship, in partnership with Mahesh Bhupathi. Pierce has won 18 WTA singles titles and 10 WTA doubles titles, including five Level I singles tournaments
