Pat Torpey is an American drummer and singer, best known as the drummer for the rock band Mr. Gros. Besides playing for different singers and artists like; John Parr, Belinda Carlisle, Robert Plant, Montrose, Richie Kotzen and The Knack. Torpey has also toured with Impellitteri and Ted Nugent. In Mr. Grand, he is side by side with Eric Martin, Billy Sheehan, Paul Gilbert and Gilbert's brief replacement Richie Kotzen. Torpey died at the age of 64 on February 7, 2018 of complications from Parkinson's disease.
