Paul Varghese is an Indian-American comedian and actor who appeared on the hit reality TV show Last Comic Standing 2, where he reached the semi-finals. He recorded his first full concert for national television on March 8, 2007, for Comedy Central's Live at Gotham, which aired on July 13, 2007. He usually appeared on the radio program Pugs and Kelly from noon to 3 pm. weekdays on Live 105.3 / FM free in Dallas when the radio and that show are still on the air. Varghese is American Indian, the son of Malayali parents who immigrated from Kerala, and grew up in Garland, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. He received a bachelor's degree in radio, television and film from the University of North Texas in 2000. He spent his first year at William Paterson University in New Jersey, during which time he interned in Sally Jessy Raphael's talk show. His sister Winnie Varghese is the principal of St. Joseph's Church. Mark's in-the-Bowery, a bishops' parish in New York.
