She moved to Nashville, Tennessee after graduating from high school. Block started posting songs through TikTok in 2020 while doing various odd jobs around Nashville. One of those songs, "Just About Over You", was sponsored by his fans. Due to his commercial success, Block was signed into the Mercury division of Universal Music Group Nashville in September 2020. Mercury released the radio edit of "Just About Over You," produced by Ross Copperman. Two months later, Block filmed a music video for the song, directed by Logen Christopher. At the beginning of 2021, "Just About Over You" entered the top 40 of the Country Airplay ranking.
