Quentin Persifor Smith is Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He worked in the philosophy of time, linguistic philosophy, physical philosophy and religious philosophy. Smith has published more than 140 articles and among his published books he is the author of three, co-author of two, co-author and editor of seven. He served as Editor-in-Chief for Prometheus Books and Editor-in-Chief for Philo from 2001 to 2007. He argued with William Lane Craig about the existence of God.
