Sarah Deborah Champion is a British Workers' Party politician who served in the Rotherham Parliament in the House of Representatives. Champion studied psychology at the University of Sheffield. Before joining the Congress, she facilitated art workshops and was the general manager of a children's hospice in Rotherham. The champion was first elected to the National Assembly in the 2012 sub-elections. Champion was given the role of Minister of Darkness to prevent abuse in Jeremy Corbyn's shadow cabinet in September 2015, but resigned in June 2016, following a vote of no confidence against Corbyn. However, she returned to the management post in July 2016. In October 2016, she was appointed Shadow Secretary for Women and Equality along with her other post.
