Sterling Price Holloway Jr. was an American actor and voice actor, who appeared in over 100 films and 40 television shows. He did voice acting for The Walt Disney Company, including serving as the original voice of the title character in Walt Disney's Winnie the Pooh.

About Sterling Holloway
Actor who provided the voice for a number of memorable Disney characters including Winnie the Pooh, Mr. Stork in Dumbo and the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland.
During his time at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, he befriend fellow actor Spencer Tracy. When he was a teenager, he toured with The Shepherd of the Hills throughout the Western United States.
He voiced the python Kaa in the 1967 Disney film The Jungle Book.
His father became the mayor of his hometown, Cedartown, in 1912. He had a son named Richard.
He and Edward Brophy both lent their voices to the 1941 Disney animated feature Dumbo.
