Tommie Lee Agee is an American professional baseball player. He played in the Major League Baseball tournament as a midfielder from 1962 to 1973, most notably as a member of the New York Mets team known as the Miracle Mets as they passed from Long Losers year to beat the popular Baltimore Orioles in the 1969 World Series for one of the most unlikely upsets in World Series history. Agee made two impressive defensive plays in the midfield to help preserve the Mets' victory in Game 3 of the series. The two-time Golden Gloves winner was named 1966 Rookie of the Year as a member of the Chicago White Sox. He also played for the Cleveland Indians, Houston Astros and St.. Louis Cardinals. In 2002, after being admitted to the New York Mets Hall of Fame.
