Vakkadai Biksheswaran Chandrasekhar is an Indian cricketer who represented the country in seven International One Day tournaments in 1988–90. Born in Madras, Chandrasekhar performed for Tamil Nadu and Goa at the national level. Making his debut in 1986 for Tamil Nadu, he continued to play for the team until 1994–95. During his time, Chandrasekhar established himself as a key player in Tamil Nadu. He had great success in the 1987-1988 season with more than 551 races. Chandrasekhar also scored strong in the 1991–92 season and was captain Tamil Nadu briefly before playing for Goa. Overall, he scored 4,999 points in 81 games when he retired from first class cricket. Described as a "belligerent" player, he has set an Indian's record for fastest one hundred in first-class cricket. In 2012, he was appointed coach of Tamil Nadu. Chandrasekhar is also a commentator and director of a cricket academy in Chennai.
