Also featuring Jamie Dornan and Damon Wayans Jr., the plot follows two best friends from Nebraska who travel to Florida on vacation only to become caught up in a villain's plot. Originally scheduled for a 2020 theatrical bow, due to the pandemic Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar was pushed back and released in the United States via PVOD on February 12, 2021, by Lionsgate. The film received generally positive reviews from critics.
