Evander Holyfield is a former professional American boxer who competed from 1984 - 2011. He reigned as the undisputed champion of the cruiser class in the late 1980s and heavyweight in the early 1990s, and remains the only fighter in history to win an undisputed title in two weight classes in the three-belt era. Nicknamed "real trading", Holyfield is the only four-time world heavyweight champion, having held the unified WBA, WBC and IBF titles from 1990 to 1992, the WBA title and IBF from 1993 to 1994, the third WBA title from 1996 to 1999; third IBF title from 1997 to 1999 and fourth WBA title from 2000 to 2001. As an amateur tennis player, Holyfield represented the United States at the 1984 Summer Olympics, winning bronze in the lightweight category. He turned pro at the age of 21, promoted to cruiserweight in 1985 and won his first World Championship the following year, beating Dwight Muhammad Qawi to win the WBA title.
