Tom Barman
Thomas Andrew Barman, is a Belgian musician and director. Barman attended the Saint-Lucas Film School in Brussels, but failed to complete his studies because he wanted to pursue a career in music. In 1989, he began to form the rock group dEUS in Antwerp. Although he chose music instead of being interested in cinema, his background helped him make his own music videos for dEUS, and he made a short film in 1996 that had name Turnpike. He has also made videos for other Belgian musicians including Axelle Red and Hooverphonic among others. He is of Norwegian descent with his father. In the summer of 2002, he began shooting in Antwerp for his first feature film Any Way the Wind Blows to be shown in Belgian theaters in the summer of 2003. In February 2004, he released " The Body Gave You Everything ", Magnus' his first album, dance-oriented project with technology producer CJ Bolland. Bartender also explores the other side of the camera.
