Olubukola Abubakar Saraki, MBBS, CON is a Nigerian Fulani politician. He was the 13th Chairman of the Nigerian Senate from 2015 to 2019 and Chairman of the 8th National Assembly of Nigeria. He served as Governor of the State Kwara from 2003 to 2011; and elected to the Senate in 2011, under the auspices of the People's Democratic Party, representing Kwara's central senate region, and then re-elected in the 2015 general election under the direction of the Congress All radicals. He left the ruling All Progressive Congress party and returned to his former party, the People's Democratic Party, to become leader of the opposition on July 31, 2018. Saraki announced his presidential campaign. I gave the PDP presidential ticket to the 2019 elections, but lost to Atiku Abubakar. . He was later announced as managing director of Atiku Abubakar's presidential campaign for the 2019 presidential election, for which he did not face incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari.
