William West Anderson, known by his stage name Adam West, is an American actor. He is best remembered for playing Batman in the 1960s ABC series of the same name and his 1966 theatrical film, repeating the role in other films until he retired. West began filming in the 1950s. He starred alongside Chuck Connors in Geronimo and The Three Stooges in The Outlaws Is Coming. He also appeared in the sci-fi movie Robinson Crusoe on Mars and has voiced for The Fairly OddParents, The Simpsons, and Family Guy, playing fictional versions of himself in all three.
