Henry Franklin Winkler OBE is an American actor, comedian, director and producer. He first became famous as Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli, an oil-maker who became the protagonist of the sitcom Happy Days, in which he won two Golden Globe Awards and three Emmy nominations for Best Actor in a Comedy Series. . Winkler went on to play Barry Zuckerkorn in the comedy series Arrested Development, Sy Mittleman in the dark comedy series Hospital Childrens, Dr Saperstein in the comic book series Parks and Recreation, and Eddie R. Lawson in the comedy series Royal Pains. His most recent role was Gene Cousineau in the black comedy series Barry, he won the Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor in a comedy series. Winkler was nominated for the Best Guest Actor Emmy Award in a TV Series for her role in The Practice, and won two Daytime Emmy Awards.
