Jonathan Charles Palmer is an English businessman and former Formula 1 driver. Before choosing a career as a driver, Palmer trained as a doctor at Guys London Hospital. He also worked as a primary doctor in Cuckfield and Brighton hospitals. He is currently a major shareholder and CEO of MotorSport Vision, a company that manages six motorsports in the UK, corporate PalmerSport driving events at Bedford Autodrome and several racing championships including the British Superbikes and the BRDC British F3. Before entering her professional life, Palmer competed in Formula 1 from 1983 to 1989 and drove for Tyrrell, Williams, RAM and Zakspeed. He won 14 championship points in 83 starts. He also raced a Porsche Group C in sports car events from 1983 to 1990, won the Brands Hatch 1000 km in 1984 with co-driver Jan Lammers and won second place at the race 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1985 with co-drivers James Weaver and Richard. Lloyd.
