The Coal Chamber is an American nu metal band formed by Dez Fafara and Meegs Rascón in Los Angeles, California in 1993. Prior to the Coal Chamber, the two also formed the group She's in Pain in 1992. The Coal Chamber Award. Troubled in 2003 after 10 years together, then reunited from 2011 to 2016. The band's lead drummer, Jon Tor, was eventually replaced by Mike Cox. After the arrival of bassist Rayna Foss, the Coal Chamber's roster sold out. They released their first album, the Coal Chamber in 1997. Two years later it was chamber music. Their third album, Dark Days, was released in the spring of 2002. The only single on the album was "Fiend". Coal Chamber released another album, Rivals, in 2015, before disbanding again in 2018 .
