Richard Fortus is an American guitarist. He has been a member of the hard rock band Guns N 'Roses since 2002 and recorded a studio album with him. Fortus has also collaborated extensively with Richard Butler, head of The Psychedelic Furs and Guns N 'Roses teammate Frank Ferrer. Along with lead singer Axl Rose and keyboardist Dizzy Reed, Fortus is the longest serving member of Guns N 'Roses, having been with the group continuously since 2002. Along with his work on Guns N 'Roses, Fortus is also a former member of Love Spit Love, Thin Lizzy and The Dead Daisy.
