Simona Gioli is a retired Italian volleyball player. Currently she is playing for Galatasaray in Turkey. Gioli is a member of the women's national team which won a gold medal at the 2007 European Championships in Belgium and Luxembourg. Gioli was named "Best Player" and "Best Breaker" at the 2007 FIVB Women's World Championship and 2009 FIVB Women's World Cup. She was also named "MVP" at the 2006-07 CEV Cup won by her team Sirio Perugia. She won the 2007-08 CEV Indesit Champions League with Sirio Perugia and also received the individual "Player of the Year" award. Playing with Dynamo Moscow, she won a silver medal at the 2008–09 CEV Indesit Champions League and received the “Best Player” award.
