A devoutly religious mother relocates her family to the English coast amidst the second World War. Her children begin to see spectral entities, and soon more supernatural events begin occurring. The film was written and directed by Alejandro Amenábar.
Achievement of The Others
The movie was the first English-language film to win the Best Film Award at the Goyas. Amenábar was also nominated for a BAFTA Award for Best Original Screenplay.
