Night Court is an American television sitcom that aired on NBC from January 4, 1984, to May 31, 1992. The setting was the night shift of a Manhattan municipal court presided over by a young, unorthodox judge, Harold "Harry" T. Stone. The series was created by comedy writer Reinhold Weege, who had previously worked on Barney Miller in the 1970s and early 1980s.

About Night Court
Judge Harry T. Stone presides over the night shift of a Manhattan courtroom. The cases that are addressed are far from normal, as are the judgments handed down. The series ran for 9 seasons before calling it quits in 1992. In May of 2021, a reboot was announced at NBC.
Achievement of Night Court
The show's theme song became widely recognized and has since been used in an episode of Family Guy. It was also sampled in music by rappers Cam'ron and Wyclef Jean.
