Colin Murray "Gem" Archer is an English musician, best known as a member of the British rock groups Oasis, Beady Eye and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. He is also known for his work with Heavy Stereo. He joined Oasis as a rhythm guitarist in November 1999 and also took on the lead guitar role for acoustic songs. He also contributes to composing a number of songs for the group. Oasis disbanded in August 2009, but in November 2009, Liam Gallagher announced that he was writing new documents with Archer as well as with the other former members of Oasis, except his brother Noel, under the name of Beady Eye. After two albums with Beady Eye, Different Gear 2011, Still Speeding and BE of 2013, the band officially disbanded in October 2014. In 2017, Archer joined Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds as lead guitarist, then reunited with the band. former member of Oasis, Noel Gallagher.
