Guy Maddin, is a Canadian screenwriter, director, writer, videographer and editor of short and short films, as well as installation artist from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Since the end of his first film in 1985, Maddin has become one of Canada's most famous and best known filmmakers. Maddin has directed twelve feature films and several short films, in addition to publishing three books and creating numerous installation art projects.
