Michael Todd Tirico is an American sports announcer who has worked for NBC Sports since 2016. He is also known for his 10 years as an NFL announcer on ESPN Soccer Monday Night. From 2006 to 2015. Tirico called many sports in his career, including the NBA, NHL, World Cups in college football and basketball, golf, tennis and soccer. Tirico left ESPN when his contract expired in the summer of 2016 and was subsequently hired by NBC Sports. Tirico made his debut on NBC coverage of the 2016 Open Championship and has been a network leader in golf coverage ever since. Since joining NBC Sports, Tirico has been the main host of the Olympics on NBC, leading every Notre Dame Football game on NBC, hosting Triple Crown races on NBC, the host of NBC Football Night in America, NBC host of the Indianapolis 500 and NBC radio host on the Stanley Cup.
