The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild is a 2022 American computer-animated adventure comedy film directed by John C. Donkin from a screenplay by Jim Hecht, Ray DeLaurentis, and William Schifrin. The sixth installment in the Ice Age franchise, it is a spin-off/stand-alone sequel to Ice Age: Collision Course. The film stars the voices of Simon Pegg reprising his role as Buck Wild alongside Vincent Tong, Aaron Harris, Utkarsh Ambudkar, and Justina Machado. Produced by Walt Disney Pictures, it was released as a Disney+ original film on January 28, 2022. The film received generally negative reviews from critics who criticized its humour, writing, animation, Crash and Eddie being the main protagonists instead of Buck, the absence of Scrat, and the decision to make the film without Blue Sky Studios' involvement.
