Astrology Birth Chart of Amos Bronson Alcott

Amos Bronson Alcott is an American teacher, writer, philosopher and reformer. As an educator, Alcott has pioneered new ways of interacting with young students, focusing on conversational styles and avoiding traditional punishments. He hopes to perfect the human mind and, ultimately, advocate for a plant-based diet. He is also an abolitionist and feminist. Born in Wolcott, Connecticut in 1799, Alcott received minimal formal training before trying out as a mobile salesman. Worried about how his traveling life might negatively affect his soul, he turned to teaching. However, his methods of creativity were controversial and he rarely stayed in one place for too long. His most famous lecture was at Temple School in Boston. His experience there has been translated into two books: A School Profile and A Conversation with Children on Evangelism Books. Alcott befriends Ralph Waldo Emerson and becomes a protagonist of transcendentalism.

Transcendentalist figure best known for his Utopian community experiments, as well as groundbreaking educational practices and writings.
