Astrology Birth Chart of Arthur Schopenhauer

Arthur Schopenhauer is a German philosopher. He is best known for his 1818 work on Will and World Representation, which describes the phenomenal world as the product of blind and insatiable will. Based on the transcendent idealism of Emmanuel Kant, Schopenhauer developed a system of metaphysical and atheistic morality that rejected contemporary ideas of German idealism. He was one of the first thinkers in Western philosophy to share and affirm important principles of Indian philosophy, such as asceticism, ego negation, and the conception of the emergence of the world. His work has been described as an exemplary expression of philosophical pessimism. Although his work went unnoticed throughout his life, Schopenhauer left a major influence in various fields, including philosophy, literature, and science. His works on aesthetics, morality and psychology have influenced many thinkers and artists.

"Every man regards the limits of his own range of vision to be the confines of the world", he stated. The World as Will and Representation was his most famous work.
