Daryl Franklin Hohl, known professionally as Daryl Hall, is an American rock, R&B and soul singer and songwriter, best known as the co-founder and lead vocalist of the Hall & Oates. During the 1970s and early 1980s, Hall scored several hits on the Billboard charts and is considered one of the best soul singers of his generation. Guitarist Robert Fripp, who collaborated with him in the late 1970s and early 1980s, wrote: "Daryl's tubes are a miracle. I've never worked with a talented singer. so". Since late 2007, he has hosted the online TV show Live from Daryl's House, which is currently airing on AXS TV. He was introduced into the Composer Hall of Fame in 2004 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April 2014 .
