Khaled Mohamed El Nabawy is an Egyptian actor who has performed roles in film, theater and television. He was born in Mansoura, Egypt, and was introduced to cinema by director Youssef Chahine in 1994, in his film Al Mohager. El Nabawy received the African Film Award for Best Actor for his role in this film, and also won the Horus Award for Best Supporting Actor for Al Maseer, from the National Film Festival. Egyptian family in Cairo. El Nabawy attended the Academy of Performing Arts. He lives in Cairo, Egypt. His Hollywood roles include Mullah, Saladin's first mentor, played by Ghassan Massoud in the hit movie Kingdom of Heaven. He also played the role of Hamed, an Iraqi scientist in the movie Fair Game.
