Rika Dialina is a Greek actress and beauty queen. She represented Greece at the 1954 Miss Universe pageant in Long Beach, California. Diallina, along with Miss Korea, Pu Rak Hi, was denied entry into the United States due to their alleged Communist membership. Dialina was not allowed to apply for a US visa because it was accused of illustrating a book on communism. In her place was the 1st runner-up, Effie Androulakakis, who won the Miss Friendship award. US Secretary of State John Foster Dulles intervened in Dialina's case and she was able to obtain a temporary permit of entry. She arrived a few days before the event, being one of the 16 finalists. Effie Androulakakis was invited to continue to join the contest as Miss Crete, but she declined, saying Dialina was "the people of my country 's choice to represent them here". Dialina is married in the United States and remains in the country.
