Edén Atanacio Pastora Gómez ist ein nicaraguanischer Politiker und Guerilla, der bei den Parlamentswahlen 2006 als Kandidat für die Partei Alternative for Change für das Präsidentenamt kandidierte. Beim Sturz des Somoza-Regimes war Pastora der Anführer der Südfront, der größten Miliz im Süden Nicaraguas, nach nur der FSLN im Norden. Pastora trägt den Spitznamen Comandante Cero. Seine Gruppe war die erste, die sich "Sandinistas" nannte, und auch die erste, die einer Allianz mit der FSLN zustimmte, die unter diesem Namen bekannter werden soll. Ende 1982, wenige Jahre nach dem Erfolg der Revolution, desillusionierte Pastora die FSLN-Regierung und bildete die Revolutionäre Demokratische Koalition, deren Ziel es war, den "falschen Sandinisten" politisch und militärisch entgegenzutreten. Ab 2010 versöhnte er sich mit der FSLN und bekleidete das Amt des Ministers in der Regierung von Daniel Ortega.
