Lachlan MacQuarie
Major General Lachlan Macquarie, CB, ist ein britischer Offizier und Kolonialmanager aus Schottland. Macquarie war von 1810 bis 1821 der fünfte und letzte autokratische Gouverneur von New South Wales, dem die soziale, wirtschaftliche und architektonische Entwicklung der Kolonialzeit zugeschrieben wurde.
