Anthony Kenneth Blackburn is an English juggernaut, singer and television presenter. He first became famous by broadcasting on pirate stations Radio Caroline and Radio London in the 1960s, before joining the BBC, on the BBC Light Show. He was the first record player to air on BBC Radio 1 when it debuted in late September 1967, and has worked for the company several times. He has also worked for Capital London and Classic Gold Digital, and is currently BBC Radio 2, BBC Local Radio and KMFM. He also had a career as a singer.
