Astrology Birth Chart of Charles VII of France

Charles VII, known as Victorieux or Bien Servi, was king of France from 1422 until his death in 1461. In the midst of the Hundred Years War, Charles VII inherited the French throne in desperate circumstances. The forces of Great Britain and the Duke of Burgundy occupied Guyenne and northern France, including Paris, the most populous city, and Reims, the city where French kings traditionally ascended the throne. Furthermore, his father Charles VI disqualified him in 1420 and recognized Henry V of England and his heirs as legitimate successors of the French crown. At the same time, a civil war broke out in France between the Armagnacs and the Burgundian party. When his court moved to Bourges, south of the Loire River, Charles was disparaged as "King of Bourges" because the area around the city was one of the few areas where he left.

From 1422 until his death, he was King of France, having risen to power as a result of the Armagnac-Burgundian Civil War.
