Antero Manninen, also known as Mr. Cool, is a version musician and former member of the Finnish cello metal quartet Apocalyptica. He was a full-fledged member but didn't write music and left in 1999 due to his previous participation, although he returned to help the band a few years ago. His calm and quiet style of play is the complete opposite of the antics of the others when it comes live. In addition to his work at Apocalyptica, he was a musician in a Tapiola Sinfonietta Avanti! and the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Finnish National Opera Orchestra. He is also one of the founders of Cellosextet of the Sibelius Academy. Antero also performed at the funeral. He is currently a member of the Lahti Symphony Orchestra.
