The fastest woman in the world, she is the 2011 IAAF World Champion in the 100 meters and the three-time Olympic medalist. She won a bronze medal in the 100m at the 2007 World Athletics Championships and a gold medal in the world athletics final. She won her second bronze medal at the World Championship. Victory at the Shanghai Golden Grand Prix in 10.64 seconds made her the second fastest runner in 100m history, after Florence Griffith Joyner's long-standing world record.
