Chase Twichell is an American poet, teacher, and editor and, in 1999, the founder of the Ausable Press. His most recent collection of poetry, Things as It Is, Horses Where the Answers Should Have Been won the prestigious Kingsley Tufts Award for Poetry worth $ 100,000 from Claremont Graduate University. She is the recipient of several writing awards from the New Jersey State Council for the Arts, the American Academy of Arts and Literature, and the Artist Foundation.
