Dana Michelle Plato is an American actress and model. She is best known for her role as Kimberly Drummond on the NBC / ABC sitcom Diff'rent Strokes, for which she received a Young Artist Award nomination. In addition to his television work, Plato has also worked in the film industry, appearing in the horror film Exorcist II: The Heretic as Sandra Phalor, notable in the adventure thriller Return to Boggy Creek. As Evie Jo, and in the California Suite comedy as Jenny Warren, the latter role being her only critical and commercially successful role. Starting in the mid-1980s, Plato was an occasional active in indie films and played Kelli Medd in the horror game Night Trap, being one of the first celebrities to appear in video games. Throughout his personal life with extensive media coverage, Plato has struggled with substance abuse and alcohol, as well as dealing with various legal issues. In 1999, she died of an overdose of prescription drugs at the age of 34
