Frank Henry Loesser is an American musician who wrote the music and lyrics for the Broadway musical Guys and Dolls, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Try, among others. It won separate Tony awards for music and lyrics for two shows and shared the Pulitzer Prize for theater for the next installment. He has also written songs for more than 60 Hollywood movies and for Tin Pan Alley, many of which have become standard, and was nominated for five Academy Awards for Best Song, winning once for “Baby , It's Cold Outside ”.
