Kelly Rowan is a Canadian film and television actress and a former model. Hailing from Ottawa, Rowan studied theater in London and New York before modeling. Later, she joined the horror film The Gate before being critically acclaimed for her acting in the Canadian TV series Adrift, for which she won the Gemini award for Best Actress. After the lead role in Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh, Rowan starred Mattie Shaw in the Lonesome Dove: The Outlaw Years series. Rowan continued to gain international fame as California-based real estate developer Kirsten Cohen in the American television series The O.C., which ran from 2003 to 2007. She then took a lead role in the crime series Perception from 2012 to 2015
